Here's another update to this conversation.

I recently purchased General Karl Eglseer's Croatian 1st Class Iron Trefoil WITH CASE. As far as I know this is the only version of the decoration with the original black case. If anyone is interested, I'll update the photos.

Also, I still have a non-cased original 1st class Iron trefoil if anyone is interested.
