Hello!

I am thinking about buying a book by Wilhelm Adam about the pre battels and the battle for Stalingrad. My problem is that the two W.Adam´s I find were never Adjutant of the 6.Armee.

Do you have informations about a Wilhelm Adam which was Adjutant of the 6.Armee before the Stalingrad battles?

Sure Chris!

It was Obst. Wilhelm Adam, RK on 17.12.1942 as IIa AOK 6. He was later Gen. Maj. in the NVA.

I remember a documentation on TV seeing Adam as NVA School Cdr. in Dresden I think. Paulus visited the School for one time and Adam saluted and made message like he did when he was his IIa. He said: "Herr Generalfeldmarschall, Oberst Adam meldet ...".
