Hello,
Does anyone recognize this highly decorated LAH-officer? For a long time I've been trying. No luck...
Hope anyone can help!
Thanks in advance,
Jochen S.

Here is the info on Fritz Reuss from "Der Freiwilligen" feb. 1977
He was born on 25.2.1912 in Berlin, after school in which he became "maurer". He was unemployd. Between 1.5.1933 to 30.7.1934 he was in "Freiwilligen Arbeitsdienst".
On 1.8.1934 he volontered to the SS-Verfügungstruppe in Berlin Lichterfelde. After his recruit time he was attached to the Führerschutzkommando at Obersalzberg.
During the battle of Poland and France he belonged to the 13./LSSAH.
In Metz 1940 he became Spiess of the 2./AA LAH his commander during that time was Hugo Kraas.
He was awarded the DKiG at 4.6.1944 at that time he was attached to the Stabs Kompanie SS-Pz.AA 1 LAH. and his rank was SS-Ostuf.
Then have I unfortunately no more info of Fritz Reuss. But it was atleast something.
Regards,
Georg
