Thanks graveland for identification of Gustav Schmidt.

Here is a new picture. I found it in the book "Deutschland im Kampf" from September 1942. Who is this Knight's cross holder from the Luftwaffe visiting a shot down bomber.

That looks like the tail unit and rear gun turret of an RAF Wellington bomber, did Lützow or Wilcke fight against RAF night bombers ?

Hmm, I think that Werner Streib might be a good candidate for this. In september 1942 he shot down two Wellingtons.

Hello guys!

This man was posted in our Photobase as Carl Rall, but I don't have any mention in my records and sources about his promotion to the rank of Major. Based on his rank, awards and pronounced chin it's could be Oberstleutnant Otto Stampfer. What do you think?
