Not the Nahkampfspange in Gold, to the best of my knowledge. Silver or bronze might be possible.

Cheers,

Hans

Off the top of my head I can think of two army generals who received the Close Combat Clasp:

Generalleutnant Dr. med.dent. Karl Mauss (Bronze?)
Generalmajor Otto-Ernst Remer (Silver?)

Shawn

Per Die Träger der Nahkampfspange in Gold: Heer, Luftwaffe, Waffen-SS – 1943-1945 by Manfred Dörr & Franz Thomas (Biblio Verlag, Osnabrück, Germany, 1986), I found only one general who received the clasp in gold:

SS-Brigadeführer und Generalmajor der Waffen-SS Sylvester Stadler
Close Combat Clasp in Gold: 12.12.1943

Regards,
Shawn

Hate to be nitpicking but the highest ranking officer and subsequently also the only divisional commander to receive the NKiG, was Oberst Erich Lorenz from 85.Inf.Div.

Though promoted to SS-Brigf. in May 1945, Stadler was "only" Obersturmbannführer in December 1943 when he received the award. Several other OberstLt./Ostubaf won the award including Hack, Hansen, Wisliceny (from W-SS), Wulf, Misera, Schlags-Koch etc... (from Heer). Oberstleutnant Schlags-Koch was also the oldest NKiG recipient, with an amazing 46 years when he received it in 1945. The youngest on the other hand was SS-Rottenführer Karl Schmidinger from SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt.6 "Theodor Eicke" with 19 years and 7 months.
The most highly decorated regiments:
Pz.Gren.Rgt.111 (11.PD) - 24
Pz.Gren.Rgt.12 (4.PD) - 19
Pz.Gren.Rgt.33 (4.PD) - 19
SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt.4 (2.SS-PD) - 17
SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt.5 (3.SS-PD) - 17
SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt.6 (3.SS-PD) - 14
