Hello Folks!

I am interested in doinf some research on my family name Begolly. I believe that some Begollys came from Europe before World War 1. But, here are my questions. Does anyone know if there was anyone in the Third Reich with the last name Begolly? If so, what did they do? Were they in the NSDAP or SS, Heer, Luftwaffe, etc? If you can find anyone with that name, please tell me anyone iformation about them. Rank, awards, and other military/political aspects. Also, other information like date and place of birth, death, what happen post war, and everything else that may be helpful.

Thank you,
Emerson :D

Couldn't find a single person with the last name of Begolly. At least not as Army, Air Force or Waffen-SS officer.

Cheers,

Hans

Thank you anyway.

Do you think that there were any Begollys in the Nazi Party? Maybe even the Austrian NSDAP?

Thanks,
Em.

Emerson,
Begolly isn't a German name. You should know that. Sounds Irish to me.

Just checked the phone directories of Germany & Austria, but no Begolly listed there. So, I'm afraid you're searching in the wrong direction.

Cheers,

Hans

Begolly might be Hungarian or other central European name which has been Anglicized here in the US? I know some Serb-Croats with the family name Begoli, could this be the original form of the name? :)
