Petr Kacha on his Luftwaffe site already makes the mistake to state the date of 5th May in the biography and 2nd May at the bottom of the page. Clear it is that none of the "reliable" written sources (the well known books on the subject of RK recipients), not even the latest state Bareuther as a recipient.
Kacha does not give any source on this issue.

Obermaier, Ernst (1989). Die Ritterkreuzträger der Luftwaffe Jagdflieger 1939 - 1945 (in German). Mainz, Germany: Verlag Dieter Hoffmann. ISBN 3-87341-065-6. does list him as RK recipient, but also here without any proof of this.

places the RK somewhere in April 1945, also without any proof or sources.

If he received it this must almost certainly have been posthumously and in the last days of the war. we know many records of the Luftwaffe were destroyed, but strangely not any of the source I can find that state him with the RK give any clue on which sources that was based upon.

(formed oct 1942 , Div (bo) ; occupation duty in the Netherlands ; heavy losses in France/Belgium sept 1944 ; reformed oct 1944 ; destroyed march 1945 area Germersheim/1. Armee)

Heavy losses in France/Belgium must be Belgium alone. The 347 was regrouped and send to Saar Pfalz area. Partly destroyed at Germersheim, reformed to a VGD round that time and surrendered 8 may 1945.

Also, their commander was Wolf-Günther Trierenberg, held a KC, earned as commander of the 167. ID.

I don't find next winner of the DKiG in the 299.Infanterie-Division:

I found it in the Honour List of the WEHRMACHT for the DKiG "von mitte märz 1944", in the fourth page, the same one where Oberst Antonio García Navarro is listed.

Tessin has nothing about the now still missing Battr. 336. He is not specific to this battery level (same for Kpn.), that is no entries for such. (correct me if wrong, this is for the CD version, and also for the books version I owned once) Often those small units are mentioned within the next higher unit, the PAR here. But, I couldn't find 336 anywhere..
