Ernst Germer,Fhj-Fw Führer Radfahr-Zug i. d. StabsKp/Fsch.Jäg.Rgt 1
Joined Luftwaffe 1939.Transferred to FJR1 and saw action in Poland.Served Norway,April 1940,Holland May,Narvik May-June 1940.Fought at Crete,in Russia.Awarded DKiG March 1943.In Italy 1943-1945,commanded Radfahr-Zug(bicycle platoon).Awarded KC for his Zug efforts in the fighting at Pesaro port--"destroyed several tanks with Panzerfaust--and repulsed enemy counterattacks."Captured by British May 1945.

Herbert Abratis,Hauptmann Führer II./Fsch.Jäg.Rgt 1
Joined Luftwaffe 1936,Flak.Transferred to FJ 1940.Saw action in Norway,Crete.Lead 7./Fsch.Jäg.Rgt 1 in Russia 1942.Later in Italy---Ortona,Cassino.Repulsed Allied attack on Cassino town,March 1944.Awarded KC for his command efforts in Italy.Commanded Fsch-Pz.Jäg.Abt 53 in 1945.Promoted to Major and took over command of FJR27,part of 9FJD.Killed in action,28th March 1945,Oder Front near Stettin.

Knight's Cross-9th June 1944
Oak Leaves-9th January 1945

Police cadet 1927.General Göring Regt 1934.Fought in Holland,Crete,Russia.Commanded FJR1 1944 in Italy.Awarded KC for his role at Cassino.Took over command of FJR15 in West,July 1944.Fought in Ardennes 1944/1945.

Otto Menges,Oberfeldwebel Zugführer 6./Fsch.Jäg.Rgt 1
Joined General Göring Regt 1937.In FJR1 1938.Served Norway,Crete..captured by British for one day but released.Then saw action in Russia.DKiG March 1944.Awarded KC for his bravery,leadership at the Hill 539 fight at Cassino,February 1944.Recommended for promotion to Leutnant but killed in action 24th May 1944.

Joined Heer 1937.Transferred to FJ 1938.Fought Poland,Holland,Crete,Russia.Regimental Adjutant FJR3 1943.Commanded II/FJR3 Ortona,Cassino.Awarded KC for his defense of Cassino.Promoted to Major.Took over command of FJR1 June 1944,Obersrleutnant.Awarded Oak Leaves for role in defensive fighting near Rimini.

Willi Koch,Oberfeldwebel Zugführer 3./Fsch.Jäg.Rgt 1
General Göring Regt 1936.Transferred to FJ 1938.Served in Poland,Norway,Holland,Norway.Was at Crete and then served in Russia.In Italy at Cassino.Awarded KC for his role in Hill 593,Calvary Hill battle.Promoted to Leutnant June,Oberleutnant October 1944.On the 1st May 1945 promoted to Hauptmann commanding 3./Fsch.Jäg.Rgt 1.

Joined Heer 1937.Moved to Luftwaffe 1938.Support positions 1939-1943.Promoted to Leutnant.Joined FJR1 June 1942.Served Russia,Italy.At Ortana,Cassino.Awarded KC for his bravery at Cassino.Lost his right leg,March 1944.Returned to active service as Hauptmann.Captured in Italy May 1945.Still alive.

General Göring Regt 1937.FJR1 1938.Saw action Holland,Crete.Awarded DKiG in Russia,March 1943 for action at Gribushino.Near Stolbetskoye " destroyed four of eight attacking tanks from close range".Stormed hill and secured front.Awarded KC.Wounded for fifth time.Promoted to Leutnant,served in the West 1944.Captured near Mons,autumn 1944.

Joined IR32 1935.Reservist 1939,recalled to IR81.Joined FJ July 1940.Fought at Crete.Severly wounded in Russia,October 1941.Oberleutnant April 1943.Awarded KC for his staunch efforts at Cassino,killed in action 21st March 1944.

Joined Heer 1943.Leutnant IR55.Transferred to Luftwaffe 1939.Joined FJ.Served Poland,Holland,Crete.In Russia from 1941,awaeded DKiG April 1942.Major by 1943.Then served in Sicily,at Cassino.Defended Calvary Mountain there, wounded.Awarded KC.Returned to active service August 1944.Oberst,commanding FJR4 1945.

Ferdinand Foltin,Hauptmann Kdr II./Fsch.Jäg.Rgt 3
Joined Austrian Army 1936.In Heer 1938,IR107.Joined FJ 1940.Badly wounded at Crete.Commanded 7/FJR3 in 1943,Russia.Then Ordnance officer with 1FJR.Assumed command of II/FJR3 as Hauptmann January 1944.At Cassino his Kampfgruppe was badly mauled,but knocked out numerous Allied tanks as they attacked.Awarded the KC for holding his position.Promoted to Major,june 1944.Later a Staff officer with 1.Fsch army,West 1944,and 1a 7.Fsch Division.Captured by the British in May 1945.Passed way in 2006.
