That thread had started off nicely, now it’s a bulky monster, 98 pages full of garbage, repetitions and speculations.
No-one will have a clue what’s going on !!

Bake should create a take-home exam and build a complete revised and updated better version with only the best pics, in each case adapted to the exact date and event in correct chronological sequences.

Imprecise data (after 01.09.1939 and before 08.05.1945) and pics of poor quality will no longer be tolerated.

He may get his second chance - and then - after deleting all his old posts - we should unlock and post the fully new sticky.

First I want to thanks the Moderators for there nice words about the research I done for this thread
( 98 pages full of garbage, repetitions and speculations)

Almost all the info I posted in this thread was accurated, I personnaly saw the pic of these ceremony in the
Hoffmann`s serie ( from NARA).

I don`t appreciate the word garbage. It`s not very nice to your member who try to post info.

No one is expecting you or any forum member to approach the degree of scholarship brought by Dieter, Andie, AJK, Harry, Christian, Hans Jürgen, Jan Hendrik, Bernd, Mike Miller, Max, Phil, Glenn, VJK or Andrey and good old "Schloss Adler"-- just to name a few if only because my areas of interest coincide with theirs and therefore my frequent gratitude of their educating me.

Dieter and I are not taking the pedantic high road to discourage enthusiasts and newcomers. But here you are on the pulpit to profess and elucidate. Perhaps we need to think more about respect for accuracy, logic and cogency of argument. Quality is an important and integral part of research.

Unfortunately, bake is fully mistaken.

The event shown in the pic took place in the second bestowal of the NKSiG.

The affirmation comes from the two authors of reference books Ingo Möbius and Manfred Dörr !!

Till this day a contemporary image of the fourth bestowal of the Nahkampfspange in Gold is not existing !!!
