Thanks for your fast reply about Kurt Freiwald. He however seems to have some difference of that I have, I will go to confer well...
Concerning the dates of the decorations, you have not given?
For beyond Admirals with Ritterkreuz how many more officiers come from U-Bootwaffe they are mentioned in your book.
I have in construction a large data base about Uboots Commanders (is a slow and complex task) some info is from WASt or U-Boot Archiv in Cuxhaven and other from books or internet.

Hi, is it possible that the Reichsmarine officer at left is Raeder adjutant, or maybe adjutant of "Deutschland" Kommandant, Hermann von Fischel? (I presumed he is adjutant because he is wearing adjutantschnur)
