Oberst Werner Schrader - July 20, 1944

I have a letter signed by General der Nachrichtentruppe Erich Fellgiebel to Oberstleutnant Schrader as Nachrichtenkommandantur Paris - dated Aug. 20 1940. Can anyone tell me if this is the same Oberstleutnant Werner Schrader who shot himself at Zossen on July 28, 1944 after becoming implicated in Stauffenberg's assassination attempt? I have my doubts as a I think Werner Schrader was either an GS officer or Abwehr and I assume the Schrader that Fellgiebel is addressing is a career signals officer. But it would be nice if that turned out to be the case.

Thanks

Colin

Werner Schrader (1895-1944) was still a Hauptmann (E) in August 1940.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.

Thanks I determined that the Fellgiebel letter refers to a different Schrader. You will see that I have posted Werner Schrader's service record from WASt elsewhere on this site. Thanks
