Finnish recipients of the DKiG: corrections and additions

#1

In the Axis History Book page about foreign holders of the DKiG (at http://www.axishistory.com/index.php?id=898), Finnish recipients are listed as follows:
Kenraali Axel Erik Heinrichs (17 August 1943)

Kenraaliluutnantti Taavetti Laatikainen (5 August 1944)

Kenraaliluutnantti Karl-Lennard Oesch (5 August 1944)

SS-Obersturmführer Ola Olin (28 Feb 1945)
I have certain corrections and additions to this list.

Axel Erik Heinrichs. His exact rank was jalkaväenkenraali (General of Infantry) and according to my sources the date of this award was 4 June 1942.

Karl Lennart Oesch. His first names were Karl Lennart (not Karl-Lennard).

There were (at least) two additional Finnish recipients of this award:

Jarl Frithiof Lundqvist. Rank kenraaliluutnantti, Commander of the Air Forces. Awarded DKiG on 9 November 1943.

Väinö Lahja Richard Valve. Rank kenraaliluutnantti, Commander of the Naval Forces. Awarded DKiG on 14 March 1944.

Sorry, I forgot to state my sources!

Rauno Lipponen (ed.): Itsenäisen Suomen kenraalikunta 1918-1996. Biographical information on all generals and admirals of the Finnish Defense Forces.

Mikko Uola: Jääkärikenraalin vuosisata: Väinö Valve 1895-1995. A biography of Väinö Valve.
