Hi gentlemen!

One of the core generals of the Reichsheer, Gen. Seutter von Lötzen retired on 30.09.1933.

I guess he was awarded the honour to carry the uniform of an Infantry Regiment. Am I right?

Many thanks for reading! :)

Hi!

So Seutter, the old Württemberger, received a Northern German regiment. Interesting.

Thank you very much Hannes.

Regards!

The choice was obvious, as Seutter had been the regimental commander of IR 16 in 1925/26.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.
