Hi!

I have never seen a picture of him as a general, he was only generalmajor in 3-4 days before he committed suicide.

I know that most sources telling the April 28th as the promotion date! My source (Lt. Zurth) had given the 25th as the promotion date! He was on Baerenfaengers side in his last minutes in Berlin... He also was telling that B. had a generals uniform in the last days...

I never had the chance to find a photo, so I started this thread!

Maybe there is really no photo...

Regards

Hannes

A pic as Generalmajor doesn' t exist. Please look at the following book (Biblio-Verlag, Osnabrück 1994) with a lot of unknown picsout of private holding.

Hallo Dieter,

this book is well known to me! Stichling and Leukefeld are both in the tradition community of the 50. ID and I know Stichling pretty well...

We had the chance to find a lot of unknown picture material about Baerenfaenger in the last year which was not known by the authors or the family and that's why not used in the book...!!!

So, I wanted to save the chance that there is any pic as GenMaj.!

Best Regards

Hannes
