as a.D. and z.V.-officer:

10.09.1939 - 14.03.1940 Bevollmächtigter der Kriesmarine für Danzig und das Küstengebiet des ehemaligen polnischen Korridors

then without command

20.05.1940 - 18.06.1940 Marinebefehlshaber Belgien-Niederlande

Hello
Thanks for your reply
I have the same info as you, also checked the webiste Axis Biographical Research.
So he would have no official function in that period april-may 1940 ?

stril,

I have checked "Deutschlands Admirale" by Friedrich Hildebrand (Biblio)
Lohmann / Hildebrand "Die Deutsche Kriegsmarine"
Herzog / Schomaekers "Ritter der Tiefe. Graue Wölfe", Verlag Welsermühl München-Wels, 1965
and
Hildebrand / Röhr / Steinmetz "Die deutschen Kriegsschiffe" (7 volumes)

No more information. But: Lothar von Arnauld was a little bit "persona non grata" because of the a incident with the cruiser "Emden" (Setzen eines roten Putzlappens / red rubber in the top of the ship)
