Hellowwwww,

does anybody know for what reason Oberst Rolf Maempel, CO of Pz.Gren.Rgt 125, was given the RK?
I know he went on sick leave in may 1944. Does anybody know if he resumed a command afterwards?

Born 23.05.1895 in ???

Died 15.02.1955 in ???

RK 05.12.1943 as Oberst and Kommandeur Pz.Gren.Rgt. 125

May 1944 : home leave for health reasons – von Luck as acting commander until official
appointement.
