The second from right was Adam, not Schmidt.
Yes, that's a mistake of me.
lwhite wrote:Hey Freiherr, Looking at the photo you posted-I tend to agree with your ID of Hans Georg Leyser. Would it be Generalmajor Martin Lattmann in the center behind Paulus-and Generalleutant Helmuth Schlomer on the far right?
I think it is Leyser on the left, Then Paulus, then Lattmann, and the one on the right is definately von Seydlitz-Kurzbach.

Wouldn't be Lattmann. Lattmann was a GenMj. It was Adam. True only Leyser seemed to have been allowed to retain his RK.

Cheers

Hello Harmel, Yes you are correct--I was up late-tired, and as soon as I posted my response I realized that it was Col Wilhelm Adam. The photo was taken in capitivity-correct? Also I had only seen photos of Col. Adam with a hat on-didn't realize how little hair he had. I really appreciate the photos and the help. thanks, Larry

Are you sure that it is Adam? The person doesn't look like him, in comparison with other pictures of Adam...
