death of General Eichenleib (?)

I have recently surveyed some AK documents from Rzeszow area.

I found such note [it is not a citation, only my compiled note]:
----------------------------------------------
24.07.1944 patrol consisted of AK soldiers from Hyzne [place near Rzeszow, southern Poland] fired at car that carried General of Luftwaffe Eichenleib, military chaplain and officer Zinemann in the rank of captain. Accident took place in afternoon. General and chaplain died, officer was wounded.
----------------------------------------------
Please try to confirm or deny it.

Tom

P.S. In many cases AK reports are overestimating facts.

I can find no General Eichenleib in a three volume book on Luftwaffe Generals. But the word "EICHENLAUB" menas Oakleaves perhaps it meant a general wering Eichenlaub??? Just a thought?
