My father was with the XXX AK from its inception until August, 1943 when he was re-assigned to Germany. I have "tons" of photos and I had trouble with the one of the Chef des Stabes in 1939. Many thanks. I am working on dad's memoirs. Do you have other information on then XXX Armeekorps?

I am scanning pictures and will post a few as soon as I can. Rudolf Hess visted the HQ in September, 1939 and I have several photos of the visit, among others.

My photos are too large. Send me an e-mail and I'll be happy to send a photo. They are all XXX Armeekorps unit pictures of the French Campaign and the Balkans. I am working on Barbarossa and the Crimea also.

Some of the Greek photos are naval stuff. The XXX corps captured the islands in the eastern Aegean.

Let me know what period you are interested in. I have three of a visit by Rudolf Hess and another party guy (a runt) whom I can't identify. Maybe someone can help me out.

The book of my dad's memoirs is up to 500 pages now and I stall have the French POW period to cover.

If anyone has photos of Mulsanne, St. Martine de Re or Baccarat, let me know.

I also have some Luftwaffe stuff - my mother's 1st husband was an HE-111 crewman who was shot down in Russia in 1942. He was in the Condor Legion and I have his photo albums and the camera that took the pictures - a few hundred of them! Camera is a 1937 Kodak Retina which still works great!
