Photo not in Das Ritterkreuz,it also has him as Hptm.d R.
but in his obituary in OdR magazine May 1985 has him as
Oblt d.R.
DkiG-25/1/1942 he was also holder of the Italian Medal
for Bravery in Silver.
Saw action in the Low countries,over England,in the Med
Suez Canal,N/Africa,Greece and Crete.
