Looks like possibly the Moscow parade of captured officers from HG Mitte after Op Bagration. Alfons Hitter on the left and Friedrich Gollwitzer center.

It's the same general in the peaked cap. But... this time round we see the EL. There were only these EL winners on Jul 17th, 44 which was when this picture was taken: Hitter, von Lützow, Conrady and Traut. Hitter already accounted for, not Traut. Conrady too young to get WWI awards... hence von Lützow and indeed this was the way he wore his medals.

I read in the NY Times some time ago there is now a Russian state run/subsidized channel running all the glories /tribulations of the 2nd Great Patriotic War.... there should be more on something like this..... it must be the biggest propaganda value of all times.
