What happen to the boy in the movie Downfall? Biography?

I've been pondering about what happen to Peter Kranz, the boy featured in the movie Downfall. I've been able to track down a historical biography for most of the people who were with Hitler during those last days in Berlin, I found biographies on the generals and so on. but i would really like to know what happen to the boy (Peter Kranz) who was credited for taking down two tanks? And was featured in a archive video of Hitler's last days handing out Iron Crosses to hitler youths. Anyone have a biography or info of him? thanxs

I think the Boy is fictionnal.
I believe he just represents the naivety of the Hitler Youth fighting gallantly for their country.

Tha little boy with Hitler awarding him the EKII is no fiction. That was a scene from one of the propaganda newsreels.

This is the orinal photo of that footage in april 1945.

I don't know what happened to him, but the scene was real.
