It's related to your individual internet security options.

I have not fully worked it out as yet.

I wish *I* had the answers, but I'm not involved with the technical side of ABR (and it would be best that we keep that way, believe me).

Well I had a third party Java installed (Sun Java), I merely deleted that programme & hey presto. Try restoring defaults on IE or adding ABR as a trusted site.

Is there anybody who is able to tell me (in german language please) how I can get access to the link wanted.
He is not working for me and I have not the slightest idea of technical details.
Where is the candle in the darkness?? :(

Hi Mike,

I have always been very impressed with your site. The amount of detail on the individuals of the Axis powers makes for great research and encourages others to build on existing knowledge.

Great Job!

The navigation unfortunately does not work for those of us who do not have Java installed and that includes everyone with a standard installtion of Windows XP (the current version of Windows for both home and office users).
Personally I would advice against using Java for that reason.

This is what it looks like for me in my Mozilla Firefox browser for example (it doesn't work in my Internet Explorer either).

I use Mozilla Firefox (with Java) and Windows XP and the new ABR works fine.

Such problems are quite often in browsers like Firefox. I tested it for some weeks, and finally decided to return to IE - it's compatible with majority of pages, and I also personally prefer look of them in IE, than in FF. Surely, there is a problem of IE low security, but it can be solved by having good firewall and clicking all pop-ups etc. wisely.

ABR looks very fine after redesign, but I can see lack of two options, which would be very helpful: "search" and "what's new/updates" pages.

Regards,

Gotenhafen

Gotenhafen,

As I pointed out above this particular problem has nothing to do with Firefox or IE, but rather with Java as the new layout requires that plugin.
