Hi mates,

I'm trying to work out a little bit about the german field marshals and was wondering if anyone can give me a hand. I have 20 in my list, including Blomberg, and would like to know which were of Prussian or Junker stock, who were the commoners, so to speak, and the old nobility etc. Also who were the strong willed one's who stood up for themselves and who were weak and gave in to Hitler. Who was protestant and who catholic, who were the pro Hitler ones, anti Hitler, neutral. And finally, who were the conservatives and who the new age F.M,s.
I'm trying to get an overview of these men and their character, and hope this information might be the bedrock on which I build my assumptions.

Look forward to hearing from anyone,
