Unknown Generals
Does anyone recognise any of these? The General at the back resembles von Seekt and the civilian in boots is a double for Wolfram Sievers, but I doubt it.
Thanks,
Max.

The tall thin general at the back may be Generalmajor Friedrich Heyl, the officer on the right may be Oberst Dipl.Ing. Hans Henrici. The central general is tricky...We have a saying 'I can't see the forest because the trees are in the way'. I know the face. I have 2 possibles One is Viktor Linnarz & the other is Ernst Faeckenstedt (EDIT: Lack of DKiG may count him out).

Definately wartime, from 1941 upwards as Heyl was promoted GenMaj in 1941 and one identity I am sure of is the Heyl one. No one else looks like him. The Henrici ID is good too I believe. Makes me deduce this is in Munich around 1941-1942 & an inspection by Rüstung staff, possible at an armaments factory or damage by air raid.Max Williams wrote:Gareth,Gareth Collins wrote:I have 2 possibles One is Viktor Linnarz & the other is Ernst Faeckenstedt (EDIT: Lack of DKiG may count him out).

Could it be that this photo is pre-war or very early in the war? Therefore, no DKiG.
Max.
And the gentleman circled certainly isn't Walther Model.
