I am looking for information about a Major Peter Menthe, born 15.01.1888 probably in Berlin.
He served in Norway in 1942 and 1943. His Feldpostnummer was probably 000752. Its possible that his title was "Reichsbeamter" (anyone who knows what position this is??)

I would be very grateful for all information about this person. Anyone who can help me?

Obviously, there must have been two Menthes. I took the first name and the life dates from Hans' list, but the biography posted by Thierry is incompatible with the OTL Menthe from the 1937-1944 Heer DAL. If Peter Menthe (1888-1945) was a Luftwaffe and SS officer, we need another first name for the Heer Menthe.

He seems to be the same man (both Hans' list and the SS list apr. 42 report that he was born 25.01.88)

Peter Menthe was born on 25.01.1888, but he was no Heer officer and therefore is not the Menthe from the 1937-1944 Heer DAL. In other words, the first name and the life dates in Hans' list are wrong.
