Dear JohnRayTaylor

This answers you find on the website "Third Reich Factbook".

If you do not have the webadress: http://www.skalman.nu/third-reich/

I think in Albania was an Höhrer SS- und Polizeiführer. the other ones were SSPF.

Thank you Thomas. But I need more than what is there. I also need the names and ranks of the other SS men who were asigned to these SSPF's.
Thank you,
Regards

Thank both of you David Thompson and Martin Månsson. But I am more interested in the men who were under the rank of Oberfuhrer. I know its hard to find the info but could you point me in the right direction?

JohnRay -- I haven't really found a good source for that kind of information. Even with large data caches, if it's not in some kind of cyber-format, you have to search it manually. I started to catalogue SS and police assignments geographically a couple of years ago. If I hadn't done that, I wouldn't have had anything. I wish I could have been more helpful.

I suggest you stop by the Feldgrau.net forum and post a message in the Waffen-SS section moderated by one of the best experts on Waffen-SS topics in American, Mark Yerger. I'm sure he or someone in that forum can help you with the information you are seeking.

John,

I work on HSSPF/SSPF org since years,
such informations were never published but are available in archives :
to collect such infos you wish, it take me half a year to check in german
archives in Germany (Bundesarchiv)
you've same in US Archiv in files of captured archives.
I suggest you to discover the joy of looking for infos through amount of papers
it's a very high sensation.

The US Holocaust Memorial Museum (Washington, D.C.) has begun putting some finding aids on the internet to their holdings. Their research website can be found at:

http://www.ushmm.org/research/collections/

This collection may help you with the HSSPF and SSPF personnel you asked about:

Deutsche Polizeieinrichtungen in den okkupierten Gebieten (Zus. Archivfonds) (Osobyi Fond #1323) (Amalgamated fond: German Police Agencies in Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, and the USSR.) [manuscript RG-11.001M.15]

These collections may be helpful on the Arajs commando:

Befehlshaber der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD in Riga (Osobyi Fond #504) (Commander of the German SIPO and SD in the Occupied Territories of the Soviet Baltic States, Riga) [manuscript RG-11.001M.05]

Latvian State Archives of the Former Latvian KGB (State Security Committee) records from Fond 1986 relating to war crimes investigations and trials in Latvia, 1941-1995 (bulk 1944-1966) [manuscript RG-06.027]

Latvian Central State Historical Archive (Riga) records, 1941-1945 [microform]. [manuscript RG-18.002M]
