Hi Phil!

This is what I posted earlier on Reinholds plus some additions.

Ostubaf Andrejs Voldemārs REINHOLDS
born 23.06.1903 in Taurkalne, Latvia
died 04.07.1986 in Madliena, Latvia
Latvian Army service: Oberleutnant; served in the 9. Rezeknes Inf. Reg.
Latvian Legion service: promoted Stubaf in September, 1944, to Ostubaf in March, 1945. Commander, Waffen Gren. Reg. 43.

RK: 09.05.1945
DKiG: 28.11.1944

At the end of the war Reinholds did not surrender but continued to fight the Soviets as a partisan. He was captured in July, 1948 and sentenced to 25 years hard labour in a gulag camp. He was released on amnesty on 1. August 1958 and returned to Riga where he worked as an electrician in various factories until his retirement in 1977.
