Hermann von Salza panther

Can anyone confirm the location of the Panther of SS-Panzer-Abteilung 11 Hermann von Salza shown below? Both Narva and Kurland have been suggested.

Hi,
I recently got a little familiar with this site's search engine and thus came across a tread containing an interesting post by forum member Lasse:

Maybe I should explain myself a bit more;

Sinice the third man from left is supposed to be Per-Sigurd Baecklund, a swedish SS Ustuf, who served a short time in "HvS", the photo cannot be Narva. Why then? Well, B. spent most parts of the spring and summer 1944 at Junkerschüle Bad-Tölz, Trup. Ubnungsplatz "Seelager" and at a panzerschüle in Bergen, before he reached the unit most probebly sometime around the end of september/the begining of October 1944. Then keep in mind that Estonia was evacuated in september 1944.

I do not belive it could be Pommeria either, by the same reason. As I said Baecklund only spent a short time with "HvS", I would belive up to the point where they where evacuated from Kurland (Before the rest of the III. Germanisches SS-Pz.Korps) somewhere around november 1944, before moving over to SS-Pz.Auklf.Abt 11, which he served with untill januari 1945, untill switching unit again, this time to SS-Feld-Ersatz-Abteilung 11. Which would make me belive that the photo is taken somwhere between the end of september till the begining of november 1944.

But ofcourse, if the man who is standing third from left would happen to not be Baecklund, the photo could be taken pretty much anywhere, but as of now most people agree that it actually is him. :)

Oh how fun to see someone quote me! Thank you very much for that :) Yepp, I still belive based on my re-search of Baecklund that the picture must be taken in Kurland and not Narva.

Well I might be wrong about where he is supposed to stand, just took it out of my head so third guy might very well be Rott. I have heard that Rott and Baecklund both are in the picture.
