Hello to all :D; the end of it..............

In the shade of Rommel (Im schatten Rommel) – 5. Pz Div. in the French Campaign 1940.

31 of May of 1940.

The 5 Pz moved towards Arras, it was split in several columns of march. In the order of Farewell of the AOK 4 and the XXXIX. AK (mot.) it was expressed: the members of the Army Corps can be proud of the victorious route that they followed; Cambrai - Arras - Heights of Loretto and Vimy - the channel of La Basée and Lille are their landmarks.

At noon the bridge of Billy - Berclau was reached. The new assembly zone was Montreuil sur Mer some 75 kilometers due west - northwest of Arras. The division returned to the sine of the XV AK (Mot). The following formations were detached from the unit: Beob-Abt. 44; Nebelwerfer-Abt. 5; Him. Flak-Abt. 35; MG-Btl. 8 and the Pz.Jäg.-Abt. 652.

In this day there were not casualties even not a wounded.

Hello to all :D; Budd thank you very much for those wonderful pictures of Hotton sur Ourthe...... To gregoir taking a look here http://www.wwiidaybyday.com/emblems/tak ... lltact.htm I've found the circle was used by the signal elements as a tactical marking, however I can not confirm the tank belongs to the PR 15....why you're guessing it was.....a caption in the picture, the road sign in the picture....?. By the way the second picture was lost. Cheers. Raúl M 8-).
