Instandsetzungdienst

Hello,

I looked up the English translation for the SS-Inst.- Abt. of "Das Reich" and want to make sure it is the correct one. Can someone please tell me if Instandsetzungdienst means Corrective Maintenance Service?

Thank You,

James

James,
As far as I understand it, the term refers to a repair and maintenance section.
Max.

Hi Max,

Thank you very much, I just wanted to make sure I was thinking along the same lines.

Best,

Good morning,
According to my German Military Dictionary, Instandsetzungdienst means damage clearing and repair service, by civic defense personnel, apparently TENO. Harry
