Re: Order of battle for Case Blau
I think so since this is the HG series but it does not say so at the top of the page. Have added a sample entry so that you can see what it says in the index.Jeff Leach wrote:Are they all T311 rolls? I also suspect you are referring to folders and not frames (fr).

Re: Order of battle for Case Blau
Also in the OKH index are listed Inspection reports from Commander EB Pioniere and individual unit reports in series 224 Roll 256 to Series 237 Roll 269. Particularly EB Pionere Regt 6 1942-1943 Series 232 Roll 264 which covers the peiod and are we are looking for.
Maps and reports from Gen.d.Trpws are also full of EB Pioniere information particularly H12/99 Roll 607 fr 173 which covers HG Sud from winter 41 to Sept 42.

Re: Order of battle for Case Blau
So based on this index search for key words in the title and description, it would appear that the bulk of the documents are held in the OKH rolls with odd mentions at HG level and little below that.

I haven't seen anyone with the T78 rolls you need. You will probably need to buy them if you really want them.

Found a few more interesting documents covering the Eisenbahn troops. Both concern Kodeis and are from approx. 25th June 1941. The first is interesting because is list the commanders and Feldpost number of the units invovled. The second, which is part of a larger map gives the location of the units.

This is an interesting item as it shows both the EB Hq, the number of battalions you would normally expect to be in a Regiment but also the number of independent Kompanies deployed as well. This gives us a better idea of the size of EB Truppe force deployed under a Regimental Headquarters.

Re: Order of battle for Case Blau
Thanks for posting that, Jeff. Had had trouble reading my copy of the 11th Army's Kodeis. Made two corrections.
