We are not talking about combat efficiency and performance, but only talking on equipment. I see many better equipped Division in Wehrmacht like

Panzer Lehr Division

1.Ski-Jager Division

Waffen SS Panzer Divisions : Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, Das Reich, Totenkopf

GroBdeutschland PanzerGrenadier Division

Does anyone have some more better equipped division in the history of Wehrmacht unmentioned by historian ?

3 questions:

1)what do you mean with better equipped : more? or better quantity ?

2)what is the time span you are talking about ? the whole war, a year ? Because,it could be that division X was better equipped in 1943 and worse in 1944.

3)do you mean better equipped in absolute sense,or in relative sense :=was the LSSAH better equipped than the other SS PzDivisions, than all PzDivisions,or than all WM divisions ?

exemple : in june 1944;the LSS was not better equipped than the other PzD.

You have to compare years to the same year, you cant compare a 39 div to a 44 div. You have to define equipped, do you mean just tanks or all equipment

In my opinion, the divisions you listed above , there were strong in limited time frame, e.g. Panzer Lehr Division were very strong in early and mid 1944, when she were fully equipped in its two panzer abteilungs and Panzerjager abteilung. All four Panzergrenadier battalions and Pionier batailon were fully equipped with SPW, but after the battle of Normandy, in term of equipment, she was average or weaker division in different period.

Apart from the divisions you mentioned above, Fallschirm-Panzer Division Hermann Goering was also strong equipped division. She had a Flak regiment instead of Falk abteilung in other panzer division. From Sept 1943 to Jan 1945, this Falk regiment get stronger gradually. In June 1944, it had 3 abteilung with 35 x 8.8 cm Flak, 87 self-propelled light flak, and by Jan 1945, though became Korpstruppen of Fallschirm-Panzerkorps Hermann Goering, but mostly attached to HG 1 division, she had 84 x 8.8 cm heavy Flak, 40 x 3.7 cm medium flak, 45 x 2 cm Flak and 83 self-propelled flak or flak mounted on truck. You should bear in mind that 8.8 cm could be used for both AA and antitank role. Let think about 84 x 8.8 cm flak in antitank role. Normally division only had 8-12 8.8 cm flak in the entire division.

Another well-equipped division was reinforced infantry division - 78.Sturm Division, before her destruction in June 1944, she had 18 x Marder and a Sturmgeschutz Abteilung with 31 StuG III. No infantry division like her, besides 1.Skiijger division , had so many AFV. And she also had a separate Heavy Mortar battalion with 24 x 12 cm mortar while normally infantry divisions neither had that battalion. And she was lavishly equipped with 7.5 cm Pak also.

Also some divisions deployed weapon which other divisions did not have that on hand, like 26. Panzer division's Flak Abteilung had a battery with 12 self-propelled 8.8 Flak on 18 ton sd.kfz.9 half-tracks. Other divisions seldom had that equipment.

23. Panzer Division was also only panzer division equipped with Sturminfanteriegeschutz 33B.in its Panzer regiment. This vehicles were equipped with a formidable 15 cm Infantry gun for bunker destroyer.

21. Panzer Division was also only panzer divison's Panzer Artillerie Regiment equipped with two battalions of self-propelled guns, though the types was not standard Wespe and Hummel, it was German 10.5 cm and15 cm howitzers mounted on French Lorraine chassis.
