German troops levels in Gleiwitz prior to 1 September 1939

Does anyone have general information about troop strength in Gleiwitz, Oberschlesien in the days prior to the invasion of Poland?

Von Brauchitsch declared Gleiwitz an "area of military operations" on 26 August but I have no idea how many troops were stationed there.
