Mechanized units passing through Hengelo

#1

Post by rik242 » 08 Oct 2014, 23:07

Hello, Im a newcomer to this forum so bear with me. I have recently acquired a half track wheel (road idler) from an Sdkfz 250 or Demag, in original condition. It came from a farm barn in the eastern part of Holland, Hengelo. I would like to try and pin down as much as I can the unit it may have come from, I know its a long shot. I will upload a photo of it if I can work out how, does the forum utilise photobucket?

You can directly upload an attachment from your computer, without photobucket.

Would that be Hengelo in Twente or Hengelo in Gelderland?

That's a good question. They are both in the eastern part, but I think Hengelo Gelderland has more farms.

Thank you, I believe it to be Hengelo Gelderland. (And if someone could give me a rough idiots guide on posting photos from your PC I would be grateful!)

When writing a post on the bottom of the screen there is a tab "Upload attachment". If you clik on that you can scroll through your directory structure on your pc. Select the photograph (it can't be too large) and click "Add the file".

Below the text window a button "place inline" appears. Place the cursor within the text on the place you want the photo to be.
