Please can anybody tell me what was the military situation in the area of north-east Berlin around Pankow/Bernau in the days around 29 April 1945.

I believe it was being seized by the Red Army and that fighting was going on, which units were involved there. Thank you, Peter

I couldn't find anything about fighting in the mentioned area around 29th of April.

Bernau was taken by 20th and Pankow by 23rd.
Soviet 12 Guards Corps was firmly in Wedding and 7 Rifle Corps in Prenzlauer Berg by 25th.
It seems that units of Polish 1st Army were passing through Bernau area during 22nd - 23rd.
