Hello to all ; a little more......................................
The Kreuzer Pz Kw MK IV 744 (e).
The B.E.F. lost in France some 57 tanks Cruiser MK IV and 8 MK A, a number of them (2 platoons) were integrated in the Beute-Pz-Kp (e) which was disbanded in February 1941. The cruisers tanks were then attached to the Pz Abt. (Flamm) 100, which still on June 22, 1941 (beginning of Barbarossa) had 9 MK IV 744 (e) in service .................

Re: Panzer-Beute-Kompanie (E)
Raul, did you also notice the fact that the tanks have had German tracks added in place of their original British tracks ? And of course they belong to Flame Thrower Battalion 100 with its Flamingo Tanks rather than Panzer II D/E's. The A13's were later transferred to 18 PD when 100 was disbanded.

Re: Panzer-Beute-Kompanie (E)
Hello Alan ; nope, did not note that tracks' change. Of course were Flamingo, I should said better, built upon chassis of the Pz Kw II D/E. Anyway thank you very much for all those data . Cheers. Raúl M .

Re: Panzer-Beute-Kompanie (E)
Hi Raul,
The pics you posted were taken in Goslina Murowana Poland. The last pic was taken in Zaamslag Holland. I think the pic of the track change shows at least a length of German tracks with open guide horns (visible in a better copy of the pic) whereas the British tracks had solid guide horns. Some of the buildings in the period pics can still be recognised in present day street view images. The second building on the left with the balcony :
The house with at least five chimneys and two dormer windows in the roof, featuring in many of the period pics (unfortunately the trees obscure much of the building and the fence has been replaced by a solid stone wall) :
Kind regards,
Arjan

Threads like this are what make AHF my favorite forum for WWII information!
Thanks to you gentlemen who post all historic photos, as well to those who go out and take present photos to post. The then and now comparisons are especially intriguing.
And all the info in between.
Thanks so much from us who live half a world away.
