Did StuG crews always have red piping on their collars

Hello

This is my first post and im sorry if this has been gone over. But i couldnt find an answer to this question. Stugs were usally part of the artillery branch and thus the crews had the red piping that the artillery soldiers wore. But what about the replacement stugs given to panzer divisions that were in need when adequate replacents were lacking. Did those crews wear the pink piping for panzertruppen or did they wear the red for artilley?

Thanks,

A StuG used in a Panzer Division's Panzer-Regiment would be crewed by men from that Regiment and therefore they would have Pink Waffenfarbe. It was the unit which governed the Waffenfarbe not the type of vehicle issued to it.
