I was hoping you gents could help. My reenacting unit has recently adding a motorcycle and truck to our motorpool. We need to add tactical markings for the vehicles, and I have a ton of photo examples, but I'm not sure what exactly would be correct for us.
Does anyone have a chart of tactical markings for early SS or have any info on the markings for the TK vehicles (39-42)
I've also noticed that some vehicles have a number next to the skull on the right front fender. Is that for the Kompanie?
Our unit is 2./SS-Totenkopf-Infanterie-Regiment 1., and we normally portray the unit during Operation Barbarossa. (Where most of our photos are from.)
