Hi All,

Can anyone please tell me what Panzerjäger vehicle's the Pz.Jg.Abt. 715 unit (715. ID) had during the course of WW2 and what Kompanie's they belonged to and also the dates acquired?
I do know they Hetzer's in 1945.

Also is there any information about the unit's Hetzer-Kompanie's action's on the East Front in 1945?

many thanks,

Rohan

"during the course of WW2" sounds a bit longer then it actually existed. It was formed in March 1944 from/around Pz.Jg.Kp. 715.

Don't have anything close to a full overview of the battalions history, but here are some facts to get you started:

6 Marder III were shipped to 2.Kp. on 26 July 1944.
During the month it also received 'rest' vehicles from 14./GR 1028. 14 vehicles had been shipped to that unit on 26 January.
I would expect all these vehicles to be Ausf.M.
On 30 December the company still had 10 operational and 1 in repair.

Don't know how the battalion was organized, but I assume it (at least initially) had towed guns in 1.Kp., Marder in 2. Kp. and Flak in 3. Kp.
