KStN for German Headquarters
Are the 1939 - 1942 KStNs for German divisions, corps (Armeekorps) and army (Armee-Oberkommando) available anywhere? The divisional headquarters might have been discussed on this list but I couldn't find them.
I am working with some corps and army Offizerstellungbesetzung, which I am trying to place the officers in their proper positions.

Re: KStN for German Headquarters
Thanks Leo,
I found about the same information at http://www.wwiidaybyday.com/kstn/kstnmain.htm. All I am really trying to do if put the names found in the 'Kriegsrangliste' in some kind of order.
I've looked at NARA FMS P139a-c, 'German Headquarters Staffs' and it meantions two German manuals, "Manual on General Staff Service During War" and "The Supply Services of the Field army".
Do you know the titles in German? Can they be found in digital form anywhere?

H.Dv.g 90 Versorgung des Feldheeres
H.Dv.g 92 Handbuch für den Generalstabsdienst im Kriege
Both should be online, we found H.Dv.g 90 in German Documents in Russia a while ago. It's on the Forum somewhere...

Re: KStN for German Headquarters
Thanks for all the tips
I got the brillant idea to look in the NARA T283 record guide
T283 R33 - H.Dv.g. 90
T283 R136 - H.Dv.g. 92 part II
T283 R138 - H.Dv.g. 92 part I
T283 R146 - H.Dv.g. 92 parts I & 2
none of which appear to be digitized yet.
Also notice that T283 119 - 126 are FrStN and KStn collections, maybe the army headquarter is among them. These are supposely all digitzed and available somewhere. Looking through the rolls I already have, these look like the material Leo was referring to.
Unfortunately, it is a Russian translation.GregSingh wrote:Both should be online, we found H.Dv.g 90 in German Documents in Russia a while ago. It's on the Forum somewhere...

Re: KStN for German Headquarters
FYI, Roll 119 has only _Fr_StNs, though it has peace-time TO&Es for HQs. Roll 123 has no TO&Es for HQs.Jeff Leach wrote:Also notice that T283 119 - 126 are FrStN and KStn collections, maybe the army headquarter is among them.
