Question:

because of the lackof comments (a few) and it´s only me and Phil
who have contributed to this thread, I wonder if I will continue or stop here?
Is this of interesst or is just old information to you all?

For me it´s NEW informations ! I´m wonder if there wil be some informations abouth divisions "Nordland" or "Nederland" at April 1945, or abouth some other unit participated in the last battles near Berlin in April 1945 (15.SS, 32.SS "30 Januar", 35.SS "Polizei", 36.SS).

GO ON ! :)

Hello Glynwed,

Many thanks for your response. Yes I know I have similiar stories about Nordland
and as well as over Berlin. My next project to scan is about the final battle of
SS-Btl. Deggingen in April 45 against US forces.

Best reg.

Sorry, Georg! I was just sitting here holding my breath, waiting for a particular unit...

I'll just bide my time, waiting to see if anything pops up on Nord...

To all of you who noticed my question, many thanks to you.

And as I wrote earlier, I will now start scanning the story
of SS-Btl. Deggingen and that units action between april 19
to april 24 - 1945.

Best reg.

Georg

Georg,

Thanks for the great articles..Im sure most of us really appreciate it!! By the way, do you had any articles on spiegeln of the Waffen SS, its design and photographic documentation of all the collar patches used by the Waffen SS?

Also, i'm looking for any Der Freiwillinge articles that deals with Asian volunteers in the Waffen SS..Do you had any?

For example, Lucien Kemarat, a Vietnamese-French volunteer of the Charlemagne division.....How about a rumoured about a single Japanese volunteer in the Charlemagne division?

By the way, do you had anything on Siberian-Tibetan volunteers who fought during the Battle of Berlin? A Spanish SS veteran who fought at Berlin with SS EInsatzgruppe Ezquerra recently informed me via my comrades enquiries that he remembered he saw some Tibetan/Siberian faces at Berlin together with a Russian battalion...

Hi,
As far as I know a tibetian in W-SS was not, and all of the asian orign being in Berlin were from Charlemagne(about it see my book "W-SS, soldiers as all", but it in Russians). I have photo one indian in W-SS uniform taken in a soviet captivity in Berlin. Russian or Caucasian battalion being in Berlin - was pioneer, instead of SS.

Best regards!
