Here are two other strange (at least in my opinion) pics of W-SS soldiers:

Soldier with Splinter Camo uniform and W-SS camo helmet cover (??) (source: militaryphotos.net)
Image

and the second one:
W-SS uniform, but with the eagle on the right breast (??) (source: ww2incolor.com, forum)
Image

I hope that somebody could help me! :)

@Maigewitter:
The soldier with splinter camo jacket is Hans Juchem of Wiking-Division.

If the lower picture is meant it would be very interesting as the Tiger in the Back is from sPzAbt.503 and this picture is normally identified to be taken in the beginning of "Zitadelle" .

...and the officer in front, in the splinter cammo with the breast eagle and BTW also wearing KC with Oakleaves, is Oberstlt. Adalbert Schulz commander of Pz.Rgt.25 :) .

The only problem is..that he is wearing a W-SS camo jacket with a breast eagle and afaik only Navy and Army had been wearing such an eagle on the breast. Thats why i posted the picture..

But thanks for the info!

Camo uniforms in Army, or part of, were becoming more common by mid '43. As kindly stated this is 7PD with a Tiger of sPzAbt. 503 which operated with 7PD for a time. There were camo uniforms in 11PD at this time also.

Because Wiking maybe got some of those jackets from a Materiallager of the Wehrmacht?
No clue...similar question is: Why does the Heer officer in your second photo wear a SS-camo jacket? :? :wink:
