Hello to all :D; a little more about this Division...................

19 Pz in Russia.

For the second time towards Welikije-Luki.

On August 19 of 1941 the division got a new march order. It marched during 4 days towards Welish, the roads used to be very bad in the north of Russia, and then towards the north to break the Soviet defensive position and to encircle the enemy within the cauldron of Welikiye-Luki.

Hello to all :D; a little more about this Division...................

19 Pz in Russia.

For the second time towards Welikije-Luki.

In the first place the SR 74 was used in repelling the attempts conducted by the Russians from the north and the northeast to release their surrounded troops; these actions were weak. Soon the Rifle Regiment was engaged with its front facing to the south in order to achieve the destruction of the surrounded Russian troops. Here it had to face several attempts of the adversary who mounted the charge with obstinacy impelled by the brutales commissaries.

Towards the Kunya.

Hello to all :D ; last part of it...................

19 Pz in Russia.

On September 16, 1941, the SR 74 was shifted due west of Osztaschkow and it was employed there for a week in order to repel a Russian counterattack. Finally, on September 30, 1941 it was received the news that the 19 Pz would be used in the center of the eastern front to carry out the advance on Moscow. The regiment withdrew from the Valdai Hills and went to his new employment area through the mud.
