The official AHF Foreign Volunteers & Collaboration quiz
Re: The official AHF Foreign Volunteers & Collaboration quiz
Hi Amateur,
Unluckily we are just two here. I have tried to find it without a result. You must know that I am looking for foreign volunteers´s newspapers. Or I don´t know to look for it. Maybe you can give us the answer and make another question.
With best regards
Arto

Well. I can reveal the answer alright. But I don't see a point in giving a new question, though. If you feel like it, go ahead, my friend.
However, the story behind the newspaper's title is the following. Soviet Air Force bombarded Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, most severely on 9 March 1944. Unfortunately the national opera theater was hit and destroyed among other civilian targets. Someone wrote: "Vengeance Will Rise from the Ruins!" on the actual ruins of the opera theater. This slogan became so popular that it was used as the official title of the newspaper of the 20th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Estonian).
