Like in the topic "Cossack´s headgear SS totenkopf" on page 6, is the man at right wearing totenkopf in his papacha?

Hi,
Refering again to the picture of Carius sent on 11th of December. Can somebody get a closer view (clear) of the insignia on the "papacha"/headgear of the cossack at right. Is there a totenkopf or is it somethings else. This one is the closest/clearest I was able to find. But doesn´t give any answer.
Another interesting in his photograph is that the cossack has a sabre with handguard. I always thought that cossack sabres had none handguards. Thanks in advance

Two other pictures about cossacks;
