Do you have any idea when the #4 was taken? He is old there, and I recognize the face from a book I read on Rex. What strikes me is that he still wears German insignia there... When was it taken?

Sorry if I´m beeing ignorant here, but apart from beeing in SS, he also wears the edelweiss of the mountain troops. (Gebirgsjaeger) Were there two types of mountain trops, one belonging to SS and one to Whermacht (Heer)? Thanks

Yes and the Waffen-SS gebirgsjäger also wore such a badge.

The photograph was taken in Fuengirola, Málaga (Spain), home of degrelle in your last life years.

On the color picture of him when he is old, why isent he wearing the Belgian armshield? And the Rexist honor badge? Or is the badge you can nearly see on his right breast pocket? What happened to his uniform? Is it in an private collection? would very much want to lay my hands on that.

:)

Maxime -- The flag behind the photo of Degrelle in Spain may be the old Burgundian flag, or a version of the Rexist flag, which was similar to and derived from the Burgundian one. There's no enough of it showing for me to be sure.
