I have been doing some superficial reading on the tank compliment associated with SS Nordland division involved in the final fighting in Berlin. The information is not sufficient to understand what the exact division units were present and the nature of the armour attached to the SS Nordland units or there as an integral part of these untis.
1. Which units SS Nordland fought in these final engagements around the Tiergarten and government buildings (Reichstag) - SS Panzergrenadier Regiment?, SS-Freiwilligen Panzergrenadierdivision Nordland?
2. 8 - 10 King Tigers were attached to Nordland from SS Pz.Abt. 503. Would these vehicles have the Nordland "Sunwheel" insignia or a something from their permanent assignment (which was?)?
3. Did SS Nordland have other armor active in these final actions of the battle/ Tiger Is/ Pz. Kpwf. IVs/ JagdTigers/ Panthers/ JagdPanthers?
