Pictures of Spanish Nurses (Blue Division)?
Pictures of Spanish Nurses (Blue Division)?
I have read that the Blue Division (División Azul) had their own hospitals in Germany and in the Baltic region. I've seen at lease one photograph of nurses from this unit. However, I am curious anyone has other photographs to share to share of Spanish nurses and/or other female personnel from that time and place.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Pictures of Spanish Nurses (Blue Division)?
Hello,
here's a set of three photos showing Spanish nurses on the Eastern front: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 9#p1197429
Unfortunately that's the only pictorial material I know of.
Best regards
Torsten

Thank you both for the replies. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the picture link, Heimatschuss. Thanks for the book reference, Arto O. I do have a copy of that title in my library.

Hi Rivet,
Í wasn´t understood. This is in the forum. So Foreign volunteers and collaboration, in the past posts on the page 05, there is a topic called Spanish volunteers 1941-1945, and you look the last posts on its page 28.

Ah, I see. I will search on the forum then. There is a short title from Osprey entitled something very similar (Germany's Spanish Volunteers 1941-1945, by John Scurr), so that is what I was thinking of.
Thank you.
Thank you.
