Hello all,

Does anyone had any information on the ROA colonel Vladimir Pozdnyakov?

The only info I had were:

- Lieutenant Colonel in the Red Army
- Captured in 1941
- ADC to General Vlasov
- After the war escaped the repatriation fate to Soviet Russia and was living in underground in West Germany
- Employed by the Americans as a Soviet specialist (and probably working for Reinhard Gehlen's organization as well)
- Wrote the study "German Counterintelligence Activities in Occupied Russia 1941-1944" for the US military historical division
- Wrote his own memoir and two volume study of the Red Army in 1970s

Any other information/pics is welcomed.

Many thanks for your info on Colonel Pozdnyakov. Your knowledge concerning Russian personnel of the Axis military forces is really helpful.

Did you know how Colonel Pozdnyakov escaped the fate of the ROA generals and senior officers that were turned over to the Soviets?
